"Mahi Bajaj Sagar Dam" is a dam across the Mahi River. It is situated 16 kilometres from Banswara town in Banswara district Rajasthan, India.The dam was constructed between 1972 and 1983 for the purposes of hydroelectric power generation and water supply. It is the second largest dam in Rajasthan. It is named after Jamnalal Bajaj.The dam has an installed capacity of 140 Mega Watt.

"Kagdi Pickup Weir" The Kagdi Lake, Kagdi Pick Up Weir is an important part of the Mahi Bajaj Sagar Project. Located around 3km from the main city limits of Banswara on Ratlam Road, this is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Rajasthan. Jotted with colourful gardens, astounding water fountains, and other water bodies, it truly makes for a heart-warming destination for the visitors to Banswara.
"Tripura Sundari" There is a temple of Goddess Tripura Sundari known as Tartai Mata here, which has beautiful idol of black stone having 18 hands each carrying a symbol, while the Goddess is seen riding a tiger. The exact date of construction of this temple is not known, it is said to have been built before Samrat Kanishka, who ruled here. It is one of the ‘Shakti Peeths’ of the Hindus.
"Mangarh Dham" Govind Guru, was a popular saint of the Bhils who made the Mangarh hill a centre of faith. He awakened the Bhil community and filled them with a sense of patriotism. The Bhils were so inspired that they sacrificed their lives for freedom. Later, 1500 Gurubhakt Bhils sacrificed their lives while fighting against the British army. It is therefore also known as Jallianwala Bagh of Rajasthan.

Banswara is a city in Banswara District in south Rajasthan in India. The state of Banswara was established by Maharawal Jagmal Singh. It is named for the "bans" or bamboo forests in the area. It is also known as ' The City of Hundred Islands', due to presence of numerous islands on the Mahi River known as "Chachakota" where the islands are located, which flows through Banswara. Banswara city is governed by the City Council (Nagar Parishad) which comes under Banswara Urban Agglomeration. The city has population of 100,128, its urban / metropolitan population is 101,177 of which 51,941 are males and 49,236 are females. The drainage system belongs to the Mahi river which originates from Amjera hills near Dhar in Madhya Preadesh. Its main tributaries are Anas, Chanp, Erav, Hiran and Kagdi. The Mahi Bajaj Sagar Dam has been constructed on the Mahi, about 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) away from Banswara town. The Right and Left Main Canals and their distributaries irrigate 60,149 hectares (601.49 km2) of land. Normal annual rainfall is about 82.59 centimetres (32.52 in). Banswara district forms eastern part of the region known as Vagad or Vagwar.
